For whom?

Social and healthcare professionals and students who want to use arts-based methods in their work or collaborate with artists.
Art and culture professionals and students who want to work in care environments.
Everyone who cares about art done with one person at a time.

How can professionals in social and healthcare services utilize art in their client work? What structural challenges and opportunities there are in bringing art into the social and healthcare sector? What ethical questions need to be considered?

What kind of program is in store?

  • 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM: Interesting talks, presentations, and conversations in Valvesali. Hybrid format available.
  • 1:00 PM – 3:15 PM: A range of art workshops offering inspiration and tools for professionals & students from the art world and social and health sector.
    • You can participate in both the morning and afternoon sessions -or just either one.
    • The morning session is available also on-line.
    • The program is bilingual: morning presentations are in English, but discussion is welcome in Finnish as well. Presentation slides will be in both English and Finnish. Workshops can be attended in your own language.
