Emma Fält’s online work will open on one-to-one art -portal on Friday 28 February

Celebrating  Di s  ta  n   c      e  and Proximity is an online one-to-one performance by Emma Fält that invites participants to experience an artwork online.

Remote communication is based on the possibility of creating contact despite the physical distance. But what do these distances / proximities mean to different beings? How do we relate to physical, psychological, emotional and ideological distance? What kind of tools are our physical/digital bodies to open a dialogue across borders and boundaries?

Celebrating Di s  t a n c      e and proximity invites participants to listen, observe and map their environment, but also to imagine what isn’t present at the moment. It aims to bring people closer together to celebrate our proximity despite the physical distance that is present. What are the ways we touch at a distance?

Celebrating Di s  t a n c      e and proximity is curated in collaboration with Reality Research Centre and Cultural Cooperative ILME for a one-to-one art portal. The portal is part of the Creative Europe funded One-to-One Art project and facilitated by Cultural Cooperative ILME
